Service Model

Doulton Lodge is an independent low secure hospital providing assessment, multi-disciplinary care, on-going treatment and focused rehabilitation for up to 27 male patients aged between 18 and 65 years and who require assessment and treatment within the terms of the Mental Health Act.

The service model is based upon the provision of person centred care and sensitive treatment for individuals aimed at improving mental health, reducing and eliminating inappropriate behaviour and risks and replacing them with appropriate patterns of coping, problem solving and improved personal and social skills. The care pathway subsequently increases opportunities for people to return and contribute to successful living within the community.
