• Males and females over the age of 18 with a primary diagnosis of mental illness
• May be detained  under the Mental Health Act
• May have a forensic history
• IQ over 65
• Specialises in younger people between 18 and 50 years of age though there is no upper age limit.
• May also have secondary diagnosis of a learning disability, personality disorder, addiction or other complex needs
