About Waterloo Manor

The service provides intensive clinical and therapeutic treatment according to a detailed care plan that is written in partnership with the service user, their family, the funding authority and multidisciplinary team.

Our highly experienced clinicians provide a range of evidence based therapies for personality disorder according to the individual patient clinical presentation and needs.  This often means that we provide bespoke packages of care, ensuring that each individual receives the most appropriate form of therapy for their needs.

We provide a comprehensive assessment of personality functioning by clinicians with specific training in personality disorder.

The ethos underpinning our service is based on therapeutic principles implemented by a specifically recruited staff team to provide for women with complex needs.  The women in our care are actively listened to in order to develop a shared formulation based care plan.

The women in our care are offered individual therapy and assessment on a weekly basis and they may also attend group based interventions along with individual dynamic psychotherapy and trauma based interventions.  All of these are delivered by the multidisciplinary team who through experience and training are able to deliver a range of evidence based models.

We are able to provide seamless transition from our low secure wards on the same site by providing a solid therapeutic alliance during what is often a very difficult transition from secure to locked or open rehabilitation services.

Our Inspection Reports

Waterloo Manor, as with all healthcare providers in the UK, receives regular announced and unannounced inspections from our regulator, the Care Quality Commission.

These inspections are welcomed and we value all recommendations from the CQC. Following this most recent visit, we are focused on making the necessary changes as a matter of urgency to ensure our care remains at the very highest standard possible and have developed and implemented a robust action plan to ensure all improvements needed are made.

We would like to thank the inspectors for also highlighting in their report the many good areas of practice and care that they found. The safety and well-being of those who use our services is always our top priority and we will continue to work with the CQC to ensure our service provides the very best standards of care possible.

Inmind Healthcare and their staff are always committed to delivering high quality care and continue to work closely with our NHS partners in ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
