• Males and females over the age of 18 with a primary diagnosis of mental illness
• May be detained under the Mental Health Act
• May have a forensic history
• IQ over 65
• Specialises in people who may have a physical disability as a secondary diagnosis.
• May also have secondary diagnosis of a learning disability, personality disorder, addiction or other complex needs

Manager: Caroline Reeves

Caroline qualified many years ago as a RGN and RMN and has held several senior clinical, managerial and Director posts within the NHS and Independent Sector. She has an Honours Degree in Health Studies and Business Management and for the past 10 years she has focused on commissioning and running community services for those who require a high level support and help in the community as part of their recovery.  Caroline has managed Woodleigh since 1999

Deputy Manager: Pam Locatelli

Pam takes on the deputy management and administration role at Woodleigh.  She has a post graduate degree in mental health law, policy and practice and has recently completed a degree level NVQ L5 in senior management. Pam has worked at Woodleigh since 1999.

Consultants:  Forensic Psychiatrist, Forensic Psychologist & General Practitioner.

All our Consultants have had many years experience in the NHS and Private Sector and work closely as members of the multi disciplinary team promoting the recovery in the community for a cohort of residents with complex mental and physical health needs.    

The Nursing Team:

The team at Woodleigh have been together for 10 years which brings strength and consistency to the unit and certainly benefits the residents.   The vast majority of the qualified staff are general and psychiatric trained and each has their own area of expertise. All the support staff are NVQ 2,3, or 4 qualified.
